This program supports up to Version 3 games, which I believe would make this non-keyboard/mouse dependant, and therefore superior to what we have for the XBOX. I am getting ready to start experimenting with it, so I'll let you know what I find...

...or you can let me know what you find. smile.gif

It sounds like the author is working in his spare time to make a GBA program that will support later Sierra games too!

General warning to GBAGI users: remember to only inject one game per rom, as you will only be able to reliably make one save game in each rom. If for example you have a leisure suit larry save game and try to save police quest within the same rom, it will overwrite your larry save.

Awsome, glad you guys are getting into this! I just threw together another PC from a bunch of junk parts, when I realized I needed winblows I HAD to find a way off that damn Mac, so here I am on a piece of crap AMD 400 with two dead PCI slots, too bad Dual CPU mobo's are soo damn expensive to replace. :/

BTW there are some decent Sarien game links on my web page in case any of you are looking for some good freeware titles.

WOW! I love how easy it is to create the rom files!

The only problem I've had so far is with Leisure Suite Larry, I can not answer the questions at the beginning of the game to varify that I am over 17, other than that, this program is PERFECT so far!

It is open source, I wonder if it could be ported to the Dreamcast as well?

EDIT: Remove the Age Check and stuff from Larry and Space Quest 4 with these patches here:

If you can't answer them XDel, then you clearly aren't old enough to play the game. You should play something more suited to your age group - like that Mothergoose game perhaps. Now run along little fella...  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif

No I mean you have no way of answering them at all with the GBA. Some of those questions are pretty hard though, used to get on my nerves when playing that game back in the day.

Just thought of another marvel idea! Since the Musick pretty much sux being DOS tunes and all, it would be interesting to take the source and modify it to not play the original tunes, but allow you to inject MIDI or MOD files to replace the game musick.

Would be pretty tough I'm sure, but would be neat if it could be pulled off.

EDIT: If you LOVE Leisure Suit Larry then you'll LOVE these free Legal downloads!

Ok, I could have swore the page said this supported Amiga games as well, but when I throw my copy of King's Quest 4, or Manhunt 2 at it (Amiga versions) it will not work.

Anyone had any luck there? I need the PC versions, but can't find them. Will keep searching I guess.

Also has anyone been able to get V to work?

Ya I noticed this too...

bums me out. I was thinking about writing to the author and see if he might have any ideas, either  him or the author of GBAGI might have a clue.

Managed to compose myself in a more reasonable manner now, this program is a great little interpreter (Thanks Xdelusion for putting me onto it) but I think there are a few things that need ironing out, I managed to complete LSL on it but the input parser sometimes frustrated me, couldn't find the right word, eg. you need to "look sink" to find the diamond ring but look and sink where in the same box which was wierd. There were a few confused moments but nothing that can't be ironed out easily if some decides to port hey, nudge, nudge, wink, wink Lantus.
