Im the one who posted those settings and it works good for me. Are you using the same rom? (I'm using Banjo-Tooie (U) [!].z64). If you are using something other than that one, try finding that one and see if it works.
For me when I use azimers sound plugin it hangs at the opening screen and only plays the music.

ok, yea the file name is the same, but I finally found out how to change to another audio setting, it was on azimers, so i changed to the PJ one, Thank you for your help, quick ? tho why would the audio affect the game like that
UPDATE- OK not it just freezes in a part of the beggining story just after it explains that the witch is still under the rock

Yeah, to be honest I dont think Ive ever watched the intro, I just always hit start or the A button once the camera comes down over the bridge in the opening cutscene, and I have'nt had it freeze up on me once. Good luck.

Hmmm, Odd. Ive always been able to skip all cutscenes. Maybe mess with the dyna mem (make it higher) and see if that does anything for you. The configuration I had (pjrsp, max vid 3, dyna 10, paging 3) seemed to be what worked best for me and a few others, but maybe your dash is taking up more memory or something, fiddle with it and see how it goes.

^^ I had that problem too in 1964, for me it works like it's supposed to in Project 64.

question/ comment:
besides just adding the roms into a favorites folder, is there a way to assign the little start to games? i would rather not memorize what emulator works with each game..

LateraLex - when you get to the window where you select an option, press Y above the emulator you use to play the game.
wazzupbe1 - Nevermind about the settings, I simply re-installed. And its working! It gets rather glitchy on some of the backgrounds, but it IS working. A pleasant surprise. Yet another game I get to try out now!
