I have another question. Is it possible to use a Nintendo 64 controller on this emulator by splicing wires and such?

Well I don't think you've looked very hard because the majority of people who know what they're doing here use xbmc, including myself. As to the "black screen", I'd tell you to just give up now. I tried for weeks, doing every remotely possible solution to get my games to work to no avail. That's my 2 cents.

Hi,

I cannot get Surreal 64 to play ROMs. Whenever I load a ROM, I'm presented with a black screen however you can cleary hear the sound, and button presses seem to work as I'm able to navigate around the game - I just can't see anything at all.

Any help would be appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Cheers!

Maybe make sure that what your trying to load is the actual default.xbe?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to burn a DVD with Surreal 64 and all of my N64 roms *IN* the rom folder of Surreal 64.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm working with.
Again, I have roughly 4 gigs of roms in the roms folder.
Thanks!

Where does Surreal store its save states? In my Surreal.ini this is what it says

Rom Path=D:\Roms\
Media Path=D:\Media\

But I don't even have a D:\ drive and my save states all seem to work, and I added my ROMs directory manually.

I ask because I want to export my Banjo-Tooie save to my PC because I need to finish a part which requires much lower controller sensitivity than is currently set in the program, and there is no option to change it on xbox.

D: - its like universal path and mean - in the same folder as default.xbe
