The problem I'm having now is that I got Surreal running buy patching the default.xbe files with the Craxion (I think that's what it's called) program, but when I realised it was the leaked beta version I DL the official .1 release, patched those files, but it just hangs on a black screen when trying to load.
Should I try patching the files with another patcher? I did Dl xbpatcher but i couldn't even open teh program as it seems to try to run like a dos.exe and does nothing.
I'd like to use teh official release of surreal so hat i can turn the expansion pak on.
Cheers.

to run xbepatcher simply put the xbepatch.exe in your C:\

Go to start, run, and type cmd then hit enter

Put your xbe's in C:\ aswell

Type C:

This should bring you to C:\>

Type xbepatch default.xbe
xbepatch 1964.xbe
xbepatch pj64.xbe
xbepatch ultrahle.xbe

then resend them to your xbox.

Try dexbe first.

File, open, select xbe, file patch to retail. Do to all xbe's.

Have you tried changing resolutions from your MS dash? Do you know what setting you currently have? What type of tv do you use?

Well im annoyed now!

I can usuall figure out how to solve things! i have Exloited 100's of Xbox's and been around the scene since it started but this is the one tihng that has stumped me!

Patched allt he XBE's with DEXBE, uploaded em all, emulator works great but then Black screen when i try to load a rom on any of the emulators,

So unrared Surreal again to my pc, Patched all xbe's with XBEPATCHER and still the same! black screen after selecting a rom, not one will load!

If anyoen can supply pre patched Xbe's that they know work i would be more than gratefuill, drop me a PM or make any suggestions

Cheers

Perhaps you guys did not read the first post?

QUOTE
Are you using a old modchip such as xecuter 1, or enigmah/xtender? - Try patching first (all your xbe files)with dexbe to retail, and if that doesnt work your going to need to use Phoenix Bios Loader (PBL) to boot another bios into memory before launching.

For some reason, when i try to load Surreal, it shows loading in the upper left of the screen, and just sits there. I patched them correctly (like everything else I did that's working on my system.) using '-audio' since i use the audio exploit. It works fine on my friends machine, which he has a Xecuter2 chip, whereas i'm just using the audio softmod method. Everything else is working just fine. Has anyone else getting this to work with the audio exploit? I'll know for sure when my XBit chip comes in the mail (any day now, hopefully.) Everything is set up the same as my friends machine (e:roms,e:media) and still just sits there. I don't see any memory card save (yeah i def. read these posts.) and again, i did sign them right for audio exploit.(all 4 files default.xbe,pj64.xbe,ultrahle.xbe,1964.xbe.) What could be causing this? Using audio exploit instead of modchip? Everything else is working just fine. Thanx for any suggestions or answers.
