first, concerning the controller configuration (and being able to save it), adding more customization. for example, splitting the layout of the joysticks so you could make left and right be the C buttons, up and down be the axis, and the diagonals used for pressing both. it would prove to be useful in some games, mainly fps's  wink.gif

it'd also be great to add some type of picture, like the star, to show that a game has crashed using a certain emulator.

more compatibility.

once again, nice job guys!  smile.gif

Can you add a feature so the emulator will remember which roms DON'T load? For example, if you try to load up a certain game with ULTRAHLE and it doesn't load at all, make it show a RED "X" or frown face or something to show you that your xbox will crash if you select that plugin using that rom.
Also is there any way you can put in some sort of "crash protection" ? Like right when the emulator notices that the xbox is running completely out of memory have it reset back to the rom list? Having that in combination with it showing what plugins failed to work would be great! I have been toying with this emulator a lot lately and it would be nice to not have to get up to reset my crashed xbox every other time I attempt to load a new game. Thanks for the great work!

QUOTE (jC! @ Jan 6 2004, 10:38 PM)
Ability to resize the main menu for older TVs. On my TV on both Letterbox and Normal settings (in MSDash settings) the right side of the menu is cut off, almost completely covering the buttons on the right side of the screen.
I'm not having this problem with any other peice of Xbox software.

Seconded, other then that great piece of software

Great work on the emu! Had a blast last night with my wife playing some games.  Thank you so much.

After adding stick sensitivity I would have to go for Relax/Samba. I also agree with everything Ed 209 said. Specially about being able to mark unplayable games.

Long Term Goals:

they could add Daedalus which has been ported already to the Xbox.  Or port Corn also.

Short Term Goals:

they definately need to fix the joystick sensitivity.  Then 007 will be sweet cuz then I can actually snipe.  But also saves have to be added without the use of savestates.  If possible, Rumble pak and memory card at the same time would be much more useful, with the option to just disable rumble pak.

Marvelous EMU!!....
one sugestion that can help some of us is a RESET ROM feature...... if you start a game and are playing, and just want to go to the start menu of that rom... you have to go to rom list, and reload the rom...

I 2nd the following:
- Samba/Relax Share support
- Support for adaptoid
- Ability for the emulator to recover from a possible crash and come back to the menu
- Then the ability to mark that combination as BAD

That's about it, was also EXTREMELY impressed with the emulator and keep up the great work guys!

I also second 8-way C-stick and Samba support. However, I really can't complain since me and my girlfriend are now re-addicted to Mario Kart 64. I can't believe that I'm having this much fun playing a game that's nearly 7 years old!

It's been said before, but I'll say it again: Awesome emu guys! I couldn't be happier.

QUOTE
I'm assuming that Surreal 64 acts as though the controllers are always plugged in, because selecting VS. mode in Star Fox 64 brings up 4 selection screens no matter how many controllers are plugged in. So if I want to play 2 player VS. Star Fox I have to switch my xbox controller and hit start for the missing players, and then have two ships randomly flying acrossed the screen
