WCW-nWo Revenge (U) [!] Black screen w/ full sound heard using 1964 w/ "flashes" of game seen, almost like how lightning will illuminate the night sky for a second. Yes, that's the best way to describe it. Ditto for PJ64. Hangs on UltraHLE

Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 (J) [!] Works near perfect in-game w/1964 but the title screen graphics are obscured. Works about 90% as well using PJ64 as there are "hickups" present. Hangs on UltraHLE.

These games are based on the same engine. Why would one work and not the other?

OK... you guys that have mentioned F-Zero X as "perfect", what ROM are you using?  I'm using the (U) [!] ROM and none of the cars have textures (except in the selection screen) and the textures on various parts of the tracks are missing.   One other person in this thread mentioned this same problem a few pages back.

I'm getting the exact same issue using the US, version 1.0 rom. It is happening in Link's house at the beginning though, when it switches to the overhead view.

Are you sure? Have you ran GoodN64 on it?

I've used that same one and played for a hundred hours and never seen that issue.

Goodn64 verifies my rom as..

F-Zero X (U) [!].zip

When im loading it in surreal however, it shows up as F-ZERO X i believe. (dont know why)

Wasn't VPW2 released in between WM2000 and No Mercy? If so, it would be using a later version of that engine than the two WCW games, and both of those WWE games work too. Not that it's neccesarily the reason why it wouldn't work in an emulator, mind you.  wink.gif

Killer_Instinct_Gold_(U)_(V1.2)_[!] is working with 1964 but is slow and has some gfx probs (better off using KI2 arcade with U64X, its slow too but better then gold)

as for F-Zero, i had no prob with it either only a slightly flicker on the cars

South Park Rally working with 1964 with gfx probs and slowdowns

Im using 4977 also, and most games dont work, only about      %10 seem to work flawless, is there a issue with this bios and EMU's???

The issue I had was it just crashed on loading at the evox screen.

Most games I tried worked fine except for some graphics issues.

On a side note I use M7 and evox IGR now and the IGR is very very much improved (It seems as good a X2's now) I will miss my no AV cable check though.

I too am getting graphical issues with Zelda: OOT and Zelda: OOT MQ using 1964.

It seems to always occur when in overhead mode, and sometimes at other parts of the game too (eg. the shop).

Also when you Z-Target someone/something you don't see the Z-target border around the object so if there's multiple objects at one time, it's hard to tell what's targeted.

If you get it working a bit better, lemme know.

I got to what i thought was the castle. I flew up those 'steps' i guess they would be. The wooden platforms. Then i went down that roller wooden platform thing thats on the line (controlled by the other kirby like character)

I did all this without a hitch using pj64 with dyna = 20mb, video =5mb, and paging =5mb

Ok.. I had played it using pj64 but hadn't fiddled around with the plugin's settings. I'll try it again tonight.

Thanks!
