Best All-time N64 Roms?

In eager anticipation of the new Surreal64 (with 1964 0.99 incorporated), I've begun to put together a collection of must-have ROMs for the N64 console to play when the official release is available. These are:

1 Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2 Goldeneye 007
3 Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
4 Super Mario 64
5 Banjo-Kazooie
6 Conker's Bad Fur Day
7 Wave Race 64
8 Mario Tennis 64
9 Mario Golf
10 Blast Corps
11 Donkey Kong 64
12 Beetle Adventure Racing
13 WWF No Mercy
14 1080° Snowboarding
15 Star Fox 64
16 Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
17 Mario Kart 64
18 San Francisco Rush 2049
19 Extreme-G
20 Ridge Racer 64

As I never was a N64 owner, I am sure that I have missed or overlooked some "gems" among all the games that are available. What do you think belongs on this list - or doesn't?

Where is:
  • Banjo-Tooie probably as good as the first Banjo Game.
  • Diddy Kong Racing arguably better than Mario Kart 64.
  • Perfect Dark. Not quite as good as Goldeneye but a great game.
I have my doubts about a few of the titles in your list, because they dont work (well) on any of the three emulators listed as part of Surreal64. (At least not with the plugins Surreal64 has). sad.gif

Looking forward to the release though.

I am hoping that it includes some sort of "configuration save" on a ROM by ROM basis so that you dont have to tweak the settings between games.

Diddy Kong racing is the best 4 player game,
Perfect Dark - Great with friends against the 'jellies.'
Mario Party 1,2,3 - very enjoyable!

Not sure if they'll run on the emu, but add Bangaio to the list, as well as Mischief Makers... and some other game by Treasure that's supposed to be kickass...

Apparantly it freezes when you choose solo mission, but it could get better when the REAL EMU is released because that will use a new version of 1964

Your thinking of Sin & Punishment, and yes it is great.. But no Bangai-O in my opinion.

i'm a fan of the multiplayer games.
goldeneye, wcw/nwo revenge, mario kart 64, the mario party series, and bomberman 64 would keep me and my friends up all night.  looking forward to this new emu so I won't have to have more than 1 n64 emu on my xbox anymore
