Xenesis V0.97b
« on: December 26, 2003, 11:15:00 AM »

Hi,

I've just released a quick update to Xenesis v0.97.

This new version fixes sound problems with some games. Specifically Phantasy Star 2 (but probably others as well).

There is a full package available as well as just an updated xbe for those that already have v0.97.

As always feedback is welcome - as well as any new skin developments (someone must want to do one!)

No, there is no support for lightguns in the Gens code.

Nice update, released pretty fast eh? Well, it works as expected, played a bit with it and it's just fine!

Thanks again, Carcharius!

(Maybe people don't feel like developing skins right away because the included one is great perhaps? Just give it time - I might look into it myself later)

Exit the emu by choosing the 'Quit' option on the menu will cause settings to be saved.

You can also save settings on a game by game basis by chossing 'Exit to Game List and Save' from the in game menu.

Well, I was bored this morning and decided to come up with a skin... first thing that popped on my mind was a MediaCenter-based skin, so here it is. Didn't take long to finish, since it's pretty easy to develop a skin for Xenesis.

Just took me sometime to figure out that you have to change the text color inside Xenesis itself then download the ini from the Xbox wink.gif

I don't think I might update this skin or change anything, since it was just made as a test (and to show how easy it is to come up with a skin).

Hi Carcharius, I never tried this emu and I'm gonna download
the latest version, btw I have a very important question:
does Xenesis support 4 player mode in Micromachines 2?

You know, MM2's the best multiplayer game on Genesis and many
emus still don't have this simple feature.
Thanks in advance for your reply wink.gif
