Is there a scanline mode added to xsnesx as yet? Scanline modes are insignificant for those using TV's, though I'm using my xbox with the X2VGA on a PC monitor.

Not sure if this was brought up, if you are playing certain games and you get an error message "this game wasn't designed for this system"  , just make sure you uncheck "force ntsc" and "force PAL" in the rom options and everything should work fine.

Light gun worked flawlessly when I played lethal enforcers. This is a top-notch emulator lantus! Thanks for your brilliant work!

I love the mp3 support now also, I have been playing remixed super nintendo songs that can be downloaded for free at:

The emulator is fantastic. However I can not for the life of me figure out how to view a screenshot, or snapshots as the help file said. I've search this website up and down and simply can't find a definative answer in all these posts, I've searched all over. Do I have to make a new directory? Tried putting them in preview folder, can't find any information anywhere in the official faq. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to complain but I can't seem to get the new snes emu to work, I've tried loading it under all the dashboards, it says it is loading and then it just hangs there, any idea of why it is doing this?

I am running xsnes9x (latest) on a pal tv (60hz compatible). But have noticed that the sound in ntsc games is too slow (slower than the pal equivalent). When force pal is enabled games run fine, but many protected games then don't work, like Yoshi's Island and MegamanX. Does anyone else have this prob, and know how to fix it?
Thanks.

Hey guys,

I want to give xSnesx 1.47 a try but I don't know how. All I got from the .rar file I downloaded was a .xbe file. Can somebody point me in the right direction so I can get this working. My Snesx .43 kept stretching the screen like 4 feet off the TVall I could see was 1/4 of the distorted picture.

QUOTE (lantus @ Nov 24 2003, 01:16 AM)
not gonna happen. Having multi tap set by default actually breaks alot of games. The Snes9x team agree with me -  It's more trouble than its worth. They have removed it as well.

Well then maybe you could have per-game settings like XPort's emus. I know you must get tired of ppl asking you to implement features "like XPort's", but all those little extras really make a difference to alot of ppl happy.gif

I made the new xsnes9x 1.41 nov.17 version on dvd-r. and put some roms on there(that worked on the version 1.04)and it comes up with the menu and roms list but when I select a rom it says some error message and doesn't boot can't find the rom? Do you need to change the rom path for playing on dvd-r? does it come set for hard drive only? Also I couldn't figure out how do get the pull down windows for the options like in the previous version? any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!
