10 Player Saturn Bomberman can't be beat.

For xbox emulated, I'd go with SNES Bomberman 2

yeah Saturn Bomberman is easily the best.

I haven't tried SNES bomberman but the MD version aint too shabby.

I was playing that with my little brother earlier and it seems like a pretty good game

Super Bomberman 2 on SNES !!
Perfect 4 player entertainment. I dont like the follow-ups with those"strange animals" you can ride on. Bomberman 2 is the "purest" fun in my oppinion.

Sadly i never had the chance to play Bomberman on the saturn.

5-player bomberman on the TG-16/PCE is a blast. I don't recall exactly which bomberman title, as there were several. This @ 4 player on the Xbox is equally fun.
