Alright so I know Im new here and all that, Here is my problem. SMMX Keeps Crashing back to Evox Everytime i got to load it. I tried it numerous times with 200+ Songs, 20 Songs, 1 Song, and Even NO Songs. I have read around everywhere I could find and still nothing so here is my log.txt tell me if it means anything to you. I also did try copying the PC version over that works Falwlesslly as it were to the box with the same result.

did you copy over from alpha 7? im quite sure that alpha 20 uses a different cache system. trust me on that one.

Yeah I got the new one it still wont load. I dont know why I tried the V5 for X-Box with no such luck Ideas? Anyone?

i have sucessfuly managed to COMPILE the source code. I am now in the process of linking, and beleive me, it's T3H UG7Y. too much ugly. some pieces are literally missing, they haven't opened up their StepmaniaX.vcproj in a LOOONG time. im checking up and trying to clean this mess.

someone wants what I did?

edit : with some editions, i've managed to bring down linking errors to 314 from close to 600. ugly. there are some files missing in the compilation process... argh. me kills himself.

I wounder if someone could help me, im new to stepmaniax, could someone please tell me how to add my own tunes? I know i have to make a folder within the song folder, place the mp3 song in there, but it also says i need to add a BMS files or DWI file, what are these files and where can i find them?

Has anybody gotten their records to save? Mine reset when i turn my xbox on/off or exit stepmania.

Also, when i got to button mappinging it freezes. Anyways to map buttons so i can use the corner buttons and play solo more (6 arrows) or pump it up (5 arrows). Thanks.

just so you people know : the stepmania team has succesfully re-edited their sources and have sucessfuly compiled the CVS on the Xbox SDK. Runtime errors blocking, they are currently working on that stuff.
