Upgrading Any Emulator...
« on: September 25, 2003, 06:29:00 PM »

When upgrading your emulator to the newest version, let's say MAMEoX 0.71.2 to 0.74.1, do I just Overwrite the existing files with the new version?

Also,  will my original default.xbe work with the newest versions or do I have to attempt(basically impossible) to find a new default.xbe?

Thx in advance,

The default.xbe holds the main code for the program, so of course you can not use your old one.

So, you're saying that you are downloading this stuff with out a default.xbe?!
Why?!
Its seems that it would be "basically impossible" to find releases like that.
I can't believe that so many people claim that Xbox apps are so hard to find,
if you're posting here, you have access to all the info you need to get any App/Emu you want.

Sounds like he's got an old version of MAMEoX (binary), and has been downloading source updates. Read the FAQs section Gorillah.
