cool.gif (more important) it is more fun to play on tv with a machine that is made to play games. I dunno bout yall but i think most pc game pads suck nuts. And its alot easier to turn on an xbox and bott and go vs. wiring a comp to your tv. It just more fun....i dunno its just better.

blink.gif and yea you could get better spec pc for your cash, BUT

i got a console to play games - i myself only occasionally play winkawaks on the pc because its not possible yet to run kawa-X or FBAx online with the xbox, (Lantus plz hear this cry for xlink support in FBAx4 biggrin.gif)

In general i play emulation on my XBoX and at the time of my purchase was that reason over SOLE Retail games, i was impressed at ppls opinions over what is possible, and believe me, its quite  ALOT, just look at the mere SIZE of the forums

oh and btw, i am currently in a project making a Hacked M$Dash Emulation dash tongue.gif

Alls im saying is if they can do it, whats stopping us ??

1,Friendtech have already showed this 1.4g modded xbox(called xbx2) at Computex Taipei 2003 in 9.22,there place is in the 2nd hall,F331.
2,It's 499 dollar.
3,Friendtech buys xboxs from retailer shops now.
4,Friendtech shows some normal xboxs and modded xboxs in the Computex for test,the visiters can play and compair the same xbox game,games on xbx2 boot,load,run much faster(The test game is The lord of the ring). Just like a 286 game runs on a 386 pc.
5,Game runs faster even use xbconnect but other players are still normal speed.(shit cheater!!)
6,If you have already had a xbox,you can send it to Friendtech,they can upgrade it for you.
7,In the US,xbx2 will be realesed by a Friendtech's co-opration company called Powerleap.

I doubt any of the current developers are going to drop $450 to make some games on their emulators run a bit faster.

The store that it's supposedly being sold through is VERY reputable.   Many people go to their sister store (Messe Sanno - the store that manages Overtop) to buy their new games, b/c they've always got posters and other goodies direct from the company to give out when you buy from them.

I totally think it's legit news.  The source seems reliable.  Whether this will have any impact on emulation or not, I doubt it.
