Good enough for me then  biggrin.gif
Hopefully in a year or so my 1,8gig will be able to play gamecube  biggrin.gif

Well Icarus if its even released with full source code would at best run at 50% speed on the Xbox but I am guessing more 20% speed. Gamecube emu might run at 1% speed on a Xbox.

Bullshit! We could get 5% of gamecube IF the source were ever released in a year or two when it works!
However it makes no difference  laugh.gif

There are two shots on the main page. One's running at 1.37fps, the other at 1.27. Although still bad, it's a good start; and certainly better than 0.2fps! Also, I'm surprised NGC is already somewhat emulated.

No, it will never run decent on a xbox no matter how far it gets. (unless they figure out how to up the CPU more than 1.4 ghz)

1.4Ghz not enough oompf?

No, 1.4 ghz is not enough.

We are talking high end emulation here....you need major horsepower. Use icarus as a example, as he has stated many times that 2ghz + will be needed to run at a decent FPS. This is all in the efficiency of the code..and a new emulator supporting a new high end system will take years and years to optimize to allow lower end systems to emulate at decent speed.

Gamecubes are 99 dollars. Just go get one.

Yes and the games are $20-50, its always stupid when people say just go buy the system.

You're not suggesting that you would steal the games if you had an emulator, are you? ;-)
