alright, first off, I managed to get it to see roms, i just removed the wonderfull rompath.ini file and everything is there.

now an issue. I have an image of Marvel vs. Capcome:Clash (US 980123).... its on the supported list, but crashes upon boot.

"can't load mvcux.03d" ... anyone know what this means?

It works fine for me, sounds like a corupted rom. Try re-transfering it or downloading it again.

I got every other emulator and finally, I got kawa-x and got a ton of roms.. And honestly.. These games kick ass!!! Graphics are really nice and games are always top notch.

Kawa-X rule sin my book.

I think the us version is a clone. You have to have the parent for it to work properly. Make sure you get the parent, it's possible that file that is reported missing is in the parent romset.

I just checked and it's not a clone. You probably have an incomplete romset.

You can either just download it again, or check it with a romchecker.

Sounds like your downloading incomplete romsets.

lol, the second romset i downloaded had a bunch of badly named files. the files were all there, just misnamed.

as for the first on, i am missing 2 files.

a word of note. RomNation IS NOT a good source of roms. lol
