In effect, not many FPS are going to run on a 386. Maybe it was developed mostly for old-school adventure games...

did you try the other dos emulator im told it emulates a 486 cpu

Well I got the games running so so, but I can not live with this sort of frame rate! Oh well, no biggy!

I did manage to get Alone In The Dark 2 running a lot better, now I just need to get part 1 to work and I'll be happy.

Never got much of anything to run on Bosh or what ever it was called. That's why I was so excited that DOSBOX got ported. I think the problem with Alone In The Dark lies in the fact that it is cracked, and requires you to run a patch on the game before you play. When you do this it simply locks up the emu, and bring you back to your Dash. Ironically enough I had to do the same thing for Alone 2, and it worked without crashing out on me. If someone can varify that Alone in the Dark runs full speed on DOSXBOX I'll be more than happy to order it off Ebay as I only own the Mac version and 3DO versions, and own neither machine and can not emulate either on the XBOX of course.
