was 64DD even released with any big games in Japan?
I don't even see why they bothered releasing it. It was very much DOA, given the horrible installed base of N64's at the time in Japan.

basically all i thought it was, was bigger media so how could you emulate that?!?! just dump the 128mb - 256mb rom file (or how ever big it was) and i would of thought it would run on any n64 emulator. It was hardly SegaCD or 32x
altho, I do not have any clue about emulation so i am probably wrong...

I remember there came an sequel to Mario Paint;
Mario Artist: Paint Studio.
It was for 64DD.
Most of the games made for it sucked, so it's not really important.

Don't forget Doshin no Kyojin and Animal Forest.... tho they both ended up on the GC anyway.
I can't imagine it'd be terribly worth the effort, unless it's painfully simple.

The Zelda special was Master Quest, it has come to Gamecube.
And yes, there was an F-Zero addon as well.

If oDD and the other authors were ready to announce the emulator's completion, and release, I'm sure they'd start a new thread. They wouldn't bump this old topic, which is filled with repetitive, worthless posts and skepticism.

Who knows? Actually, I was wondering about the same.

Just if some of you didnt know one of the groups released a n64 rom of Zelda OOT Master Quest so you dont need to buy a N64DD or gamecube to play it. If I remember right the rom works great on the pc project64

Yeah, the game runs just fine on PC.
But it doesn't work on Xbox, though...
