Update Pj64 Or Other N64 Emu?

As for a suggestions I have one.... This is probably already done, but having 10-15 save states would be real handy for this emu cause i and my friends have so many different games goin...

As all emulators that support save states do, each game has its own saving system for save slots. So if you have 5 save states, that means you can have up to 5 save states for *each* game.

Or did you really need more? I've never found the need for more than 5.

Mario Tennis already runs well and is playable, just has graphic glitches.

I admit that this is of no particular use to myself, as the only n64 translation patches are in Russian, Polish and Italian, but one thing I'd really like to see in just about any emulator is on the fly IPS patching. This is one of the niftiest features in Lantus' Snes9X port in my opinion.

Mario Party 1, 2 and 3, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and the Pokemon Stadium games and Smash Bros. It would be great if any of these games ran good and are playable.

Yeah mario party support would rule all!

a tiny bit offtopic but I got to say that xport's emulators skins and all are the greatest designs ever.

Obviously you wouldn't put that in without xport on the team which is doubtful but as a later seggestion when everything else is done... to have a great gui... I'd even help out if needed on it.

Why should it use that? There are only a few translations
for N64, and you can easily patch a game permanent
with any IPS tool (i.e. SNES-tool).

Little off topic, but do any N64 emulators support 64DD games?

BTW, emulator is sounding fantastic.  Another reason I never play Xbox games, just emulators.

How can the core of 3 emulators be used in one emulator? Just doesnt sound right to me.

Maybe one works better then others for certain games.  Therefore I guess the frontend would be there, and each game would have to be configured for a certain game.  Although if all were open source then why not just mesh them all together so that the emulator actually functioned correctly! biggrin.gif

I have a suggestion if it is possible? You can buy N64 > USB joystick converters
would be great if you could get one of these to work with the Emulator/Xbox.

See which one is most popular and try and convert it cos some games (imo) will
only ever be playable on a N64 pad.

Being able to play with an N64 pad on Xbox would be cool,
but it isn't really important.

Like what? I don't know any games that need an N64 pad...

yup, i agree, it may feel a bit awkward for the first few minutes but you'll get used to it in no time just like mario64, mario kart, starfox, and zelda64 now smile.gif i can't wait to try out the WWF and WCW games and SSM biggrin.gif

The duke controller is a perfect match for the N64 controller IMO.
