As long as it is an option it shouldnt be a prob and everyone should be satisfied wink.gif

Tho i have a little suggestion:
Fully configureable pad

Its already done. Any n64 button can be assigned to any xbox button or axis direction and any n64 axis direction can be assigned to any xbox button or axis direction! smile.gif eg. The n64 button A could be assigned to the right thumbstick x axis in the + direction.

A global controller setting will be changeable under the settings menu and each game can have its own custom configuration if necessary.

BTW. Any other suggestions are welcome.

GoldenEye is really a pain with the XBox analog stick, the N64 one was far better imo.

If some other useful thing comes to my mind i post it wink.gif

That got me thinking of an idea- analog stick sensitivity adjusting. You could  adjust how sensitive the analog controls are.

Why should you care?

I've heard nothing but denial, complaints, and utter crap out of you for the past two months how this whole N64 situation is 'wrong' and how it will never lead anywhere.

But after repetitive explanations of progress, you still denied.

I figured someone in such a state of denial would fail to acknowledge even after it was released to the public.

Congrats on being jerk(s)[AlphaWolf = 2] of the month.

Anyways, i wouldnt want to start a 'war' on such a nice thread, so next time dont be so quick to deny things that known responsible people tell you.

What about pilotwings? Or starfox? or pokemon snap? i've been dieing to get past the tank levels in starfox but it always craps out around there. And pilotwings! *drool* i hope it will work.

Pilotwings, starfox, and i believe pokemon snap are all playable on pj64-x. Rice's graphics plugin has known issues with pilotwings, but i know atleast starfox is very near perfect.

That's why I apoligized earlier in the thread- I don't want to start another flame war, and, while (and I quote myself) constructive critisism about the topic at hand would be wonderful, if it causes alot of shit, then it's not worth it. While I may not blame you for feeling a tad agressive, what with my opinion in the past about the contest, you could've just PMed me about it instead of, as you said, pointing it out in this thread. It's not like I made it a secret I apoligized, or that I've been a bit of an ass about my opinions- please, man, I'm trying to play nice and just talk about the subject.... in effect, I'm playing by the rules. Can we just have a civil conversation about this, for once? I don't want to start another flame war with you.

EDIT: In case my apoligy wasn't clear enough, and, again, to save everyone from reading another agument about it, I apoligize for being an ass prior to this thread about the contest, the emulator, and the coder. It was disrespectful of myself to suggest a scam or vaporware, or to call into question the talent of a coder far more knowlegeable on the subject than myself.

to Glitch, and the other unexperienced fellow that is doubting that 3 emu's can be based in one...

You obviously are not into the emulation scene. You apparently were not around when mame-x was the first emulator to combine two xbe's into one emulator to save memory.

The first xbe (default.xbe) is the 'launcher'. This is the Ui/config menu/romlist screen, which allows you to 'launch' other xbe's.

You also have never heard of CHIHIROX, hikaru's emulator package, which includes all of his emulator ports into one package.

You must also have not thought about the simple concept of replacement dashboards (evolution-x) for starters, which is easy as 1,2,3 to add and launch your own specific xbe's, and even includes custom launching command line, so you can launch your roms straight from the menu.

Not to mention PJ64-X, which had two seperate xbe's, each for small carts, and larger carts, to be launched when the situation deemed neccessary.

So, for those of you doubting, dont, and take your bullshit elsewhere.

Sniper Fox: Yes, mupen has already been looked at. As a emulator itself, i would say its no better than daedalus. Whats more important is that it is a alternative sound plugin (which is no where near up to par with azimers, but its a better alternative in some specific cases than zilmar's memhog soundplugin). btw, .3 release was just a fix (as far as i know) for mario kart. Sound was missing in it =p The previous version was released weeks back.

lowry383: No, these ports will not increase compatibility. You will have to wait for new versions of rice's plugin, and core updates for compatibility improvements.
