- Traverse any directory on any drive ( Continue selecting the parent
directory entry on the file selection list to get the drive selection
  list.  Selectable drives are C, D, E, F, R, X, Y, Z, and SMB.
R is the CDROM drive.  SMB is the samba share you have defined in your
FMSXBOX.ini file.)  Press Y from any file-listing screen to go up one

invoked from the Options/Pause menu as well as in-game via your

feature.  For example, if the custom-launch routines are incorporated into
a new frontend, that frontend could launch FMSXBOX and when you exit
FMSXBOX, that frontend can be automatically reloaded.

Cool. All the old xport emulators now have the GUI (except for Bochs, which isn't likely to be updated). I feel a weird sense of closure...  wink.gif

Sorry guys, but i'm a newbie to this particular emu. I have no idea what it is, what it emulates, what kind of games, etc. Someone told me somewhere it plays sega master system games, so, i go and try to play a sega master system game, and then i get this blue basic screen. It looked like the old tandy color computer screen from the 1980's   So, i'm completely lost. I hope you'll explain what it is, and what it does. I thank you for your help...... wink.gif

Nice job again XPORT.

But it's still impossible to configure a 2nd controller. The 1st one control all the others.

So we can't play with 2 person some amazing games like warroid, ping-pong, etc...  :(

Has someone any idea/solution about this problem?

Tks!

Nice work XPORT.. i've got 2 small comments: 1) the game sound is a bit low and cannot be adjusted with right analog stick 2) the option to configure emulator settings does not work.

Thank you very much for this great Emu XPort, I allready spent a lot of time with it  pop.gif

I only had a few problems with Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake. I have to use the MSX Buttons F1 up to F2 for example to switch weapons or using the codec. But I could not find these commands under "Configure Controllers". Is ist still possible somehow with a Joypad or do I need a USB-Adapter and a keyboard??
The games seemed to me a little bit to fast, especially in Vampire Killer the some enimies seemed to be running, or could this be because they were Pal-Games??

But I do not wish to complain, thank you very much again smile.gif

I checked out the sites for more information on the MSX/MSX2/MSX2+, for 1984.   The games were amazing.  I really like the lazer disc games.

Nice, I did not know it existed.

I'm aware of the sound volume issue.  I'm fairly certain that all of the emulator volume variables are set to max.  The xbox hardware volume is also set to max.  The only current solution is to turn up the volume on your TV.  You can turn down the volume of the background MP3 to even things out.

The "configure emulator" option doesn't do anything.  It's a left-over from some other port.  Ignore it.  Whatever you're looking to configure is found somewhere else.

Configure Controllers -> Change Emulator Definitions
Select one of the buttons you are currently not using and select F1 or F2, etc.  Now that emulator-defined button can be assigned to an XBox button(s) via the "Change Joypad Mappings" menu.

Re: speed - I'll look into it.
