I'm not quite sure about that 60 fps thing since the screenshot is interlaced.  It looks like it'll hit 60 fps when in interlaced mode but it'll be far less than that in regular mode.  I could, and hope to be wrong about this tho.

As far as I can tell from the screenie, the video mode isn't interlaced, but scanlined.

Scanlines (as far as I can tell) utilize more cpu speed, as the comp has to draw them on top of the image, and adjust the image on the fly.
I could be wrong though (and probably am)

Either way, scanlines or no... I'll still be playing KI full speed on my XBox! Who cares if it's scanlined (like all TVs are anyway) or not?

I thought I seen a option to toggle scanlines on the main menu,, I hope so because if not we'll have to play KI with it looking like every other line is missing.

Yeah I'm hoping lantus (or whoever is doing this port) takes a lesson from MHz of Kawa-X.  Kawa-X has the best output I've seen.  The display is sharp and proportional.

Yeah... but kawaX uses the virtual memory.... so that might be imposible... until KawaX become open source.... LOL

Virtual memory has nothing to do with the video display, heh, and it's not like emulation authors don't exchange information.  I dunno if lantus and MHz contact each other but when you look at many emulator update logs like MAME, SNES9x, and ZSNES you'll notice that many of the authors give thanks to other authors with whom they exchanged info with.

I must be the only person that pays attention to what the picture on the television screen looks like.  SNES9x looks horrible on a TV and so does Final Burn Alpha; the pixels are outta whack in those emulators while Kawa-X manages to output CPS2 and NEOGEO as if they were running from the real hardware.

Hey lantus, would you consider releassing it with only KI1 support and leave KI2 support for latter?

Cause *i think* KI1 support is ready... just a suggestion

If your answer is NO, No prob. Ill wait until hell freezes over for your emu
