As much as I love KI, SSF2T and KOF98 are the best fighters ever made.

KI will always hold a place in my heart for said reasons, but the gentlemen's fighting game is none other than SFIII franchise. It's the "Chess" of  fighting games, and is geared towards the old pros of SF2-Turbo. It builds upon that classic foundation with new additions complex enough to satisfy an older and much more refined gamer. It's not for newbies, it's far too deep a game.

Unfortunately the general public took your disposition on sfIII as well. It's just too complex for it's own good, however the best SF'ers in southern california have made the move over from alpha2, so it's getting it's due and proper respect, just a little later than normal.

just relax, progress is being made - when its out you will know

i just added 5 savestates per rom (5 for KI1 and KI2). something the original never supported (only one savestate i believe).

i dont set timelines because it just adds unwanted pressure/hype surrounding a project..besides i have a RL to deal with.

It's amazing that you are able to this. What programming knowledge do you use to port this? Maybe I will do some reading up just to appreciate what you guys do.

I have always been fascinated by development and always wanted to learn how to do it. Unfortunately between my wife, son, and job I never got around to it.

Now that I can be a bum for several months (staying in San Antonio for several more months before my family gets stationed in Japan) I can try all types of stuff. You have inspired me to do research.

Good luck and keep us updated.

Thx for the update Lantus

Just asking -not requesting-:

Is there any posibility that you add saved RAM support? so when you turn off the game, the combo records are still there without having to do a savestate?
