yes, i do and for me it works fine...

this might be a problem resulting of an old chip/bios combination, there are other emu coders who have fixed this, so maybe guybrush can fix it also...

I haven't had any problems with any other emulators, I've got around ten on the XBOX. Using the original Xecuter chip.

otherwhise just name the first savegame "." the second ".." and so on, when you reach the point where there are two many "." in one savename, just start over again (with ".", then "..", and so on)

like i've thought...

it is a bios related problem (the bios the xecuter 1 uses does not support every routine, coders today use..), and as you can't flash a xecuter 1, you habe to wait, until guybrush has fixed the problem. (or get a new modchip)

im pretty sure, this is your problem.

program called xbepatch.exe solves it.

I am not sure if i can post it here. Basically it patches .xbe files from debug to Retail. This is usually done in the XDK, however it seems Threepwood forgot to do it ( or maybe not). Basically xecuter 1 and enigmah chips have a bios which will only accept Retail code, not debug code. Xecuter 2 and many others do accept both, and therefore do not have the problem.

protosstic is right... i have X1 bios... and ive got it working fine...

u have to use the program xbepatch.exe ... don't worry i dont think it's illegal.. it's even on Xports website i think.

I have not read the entire thread, so if I am repeating what has already been said, so be it.

Anyhow, ScummVMx seems to freak, and go back to the EvoxDash when ever you exit a game, or add a new game to the list. It used to do it when adding games to the list, then suddenly it just started to. So that no doubt could use a fix.

Also when browsing the directories to add in a new game, it would help that if when you went back a level, it only went back a level instead of to ROOT.

ISO support would be great as well since we are not getting CD support most likely. This way we could play Loom  CD and others with full sound.

There isn't anything in VS for patching the xbe.

You need to grab a copy of xbepatch (easily available from xbox-scene main page under the tools section)

You could set up a build step in VS to run it once everythign else has been done.

In my case I just run it when I build an archive for release
