i have the same "doubleclick"-problem as harlekin with BASS. i have two controllers plugged in ports 1&2 and a usb-keyboard in port 3. i found out the usb-keyboard is not causing these problems, but the second controller in port 2. when i unplug controller #2, everything works fine. must be a bug...

one last thing.. is there a command line, that allows you to see the german subtitles in monkey3, as i own the german version, it appears strange, that every character talks in german and the displayed subtitles are in english...

when i start the windows version in -qde, monkey3 works in german, when i disable -qde it doesn't, but scummvmx does not start monkey3 in german, even though i've enabled -qde (in general), and BASS works fine (in german) with it.

please fix this, thank you!

You guys say you got Curse of monkey isalnd up and runing right?  I can't seem to get it to work.  I copied the resource folder of my cd to the xbox.  Then I launched the .xbe, and pointed it to the resource folder.  It then says game's not recognized.  I'm trying to play the 2 disc set of curse of monkey island.  Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

(there are some bugs with this game, which are also in the pc version of scummvm, for example the sound will mute, when two speech samples play at the same time, or at the beginning, after u've talked to wally and the started crying, his heat will pop up in front of the cannon from time to time...) nevertheless, the game works and this is great!

Though I'm having a weird problem with the game itself now.. not sure if this existed in the PC version, but the game hangs during the junkyard mini-game where you need to guide the crane over and lift up the car w/dog inside.  I can click on the lever to move the crane down, but I can't seem to make it stop..

Can you use the compressed mp3 or ogg versions of the monster.sou files?

and

What about Loom CD audio?  Since the audio for Loom is redbook CD audio, can I capture this as a wave file, then convert to mp3 or ogg?

umm, i installedc this program and 'i'm having a blast playing sam and max, but now how do i save a game?! i have to type in a save game name in order to save!!!

You're problem is insane!

Really it's the action sequence engine in full throttle (Called insane) there's no support for it so none of the mini games work!

It's a bitch but unless you feel like reverse engineering Insane it's best just to shut up and enjoy what does work properly.

Scummvm is a lovely port if only I hadn't completed DOTT, Samnmax & the dig recently on the DC port.

Meelee island we have a date with destiny (Although I've lost my god damn Mixnmojo wheel, still got dial a pirate though).

A few years ago i picked up a classic thing off DOTT and Sam and Max. DOTT had been playing up on this computer. Whether it be WinXP or whatever, im not sure. I now can play both, and i renamed mainac.ovl to maniac to exe and copied it into a seperate folder, and can play the good ol original Maniac Mansion beerchug.gif

This is totally wicked. One of my favorite emus for sure biggrin.gif

A tip to all.  Beneath a Steel Sky has been put in public domain status by it's makers/owners.  So it's legit to download that game and it's available on many abandonware sites.  Google it.  It's a good way to test this emu out for those that don't have these old classics. 

Iriez, if you don't want that info here, then please accept my apology and edit my post as you see fit.  smile.gif  I just figured it would be ok to share that because it is really in the public domain.

if its PD and it is.... then your fine... if a op does disagree tell him to go fuck off. Public domain is infact public domain and free for all to share and distribute and post inks to in forum threrads! Cant wait to test this beauty out!

Yes only MP3 is supported tho or is there much request for vorbis as well?

read the included README for instructions on how to extract monster.sou and recompress them to mp3, and how to convert your CD Audio tracks to mp3 as well.

you cant type a name unless you have a keyboard, use the B button on your controller instead to enter periods. and then double click to save.

I just can't get it to work on my XBOX, crashes at the EvolutionX splash screen everytime I try to start it.
Tried it on the F: and E: drives and as described in the help file but nothing.ANybody else used the XBINS binary?
It's a PAL XBOX but I've switched it to both PAL and NTSC but nothing has helped.
