re: willy beamish.  Make sure you're not using a save state from a version of neogenesis that was before CD-save states were officially working.

All my roms and Sega CD iso,cue,mp3 (cddissect) work but not the Real one, any idea ?

nelsonbpy - If you deleted all your save states, then why does it "show you where you saved" and then go to the BIOS screen w/ crash hum?  Save states are in e:\saves\neogenesis\*.ST#  where # is 0 through 9.  Secondly, does Willy Beamish even work in the Windows port of Gens?

crjack - You didn't tell me how you're starting your cd games and you're not telling me any specifics other than "it doesn't work" so I cannot help you.  When you say "real segaCds" do you mean they are originals or CDR copies?

QUOTE (RobX @ Aug 7 2003, 04:33 PM)
Xport I really do appreciate all the hard work you put into these emulators!!!

Was wondering about one problem that you may be able to help me with, I currently have my genesis Roms shared over relax.  A large amount of my Roms end in “.bin” instead of “.smd” so when I go to run these Roms through relax they will but up in a Sega Cd emulation mode I believe (since they are the same as cdrwin’s .bin format).  I was wondering if there is a way to always force regular genesis emulation over the network?  These “.bin” Rom images will work fine when they are stored off the HD of the Xbox. You may already have added this feature somewhere that I didn’t see

Later,
RobX

I'm sure someone's asked this before, and I think Xport suggested zipping ROMs that are in .bin format.

Hi

I have a similar problem as CrJack.

My problem is when I insert an original Sega CD Game on my drive (Thompson DVD Drive) and highlight and select the "Launch Inserted CD" option all I get is the Sega Music Player and the same thing happens when I zip the iso, mp3 and cue sheet.

But if I leave them as they are without zipping them the game loads fine

Another Q?.  What does the option under "Configuration -> Emulator specific option" do?  I highlight it and nothing happens.

Thanks for your time XPort and your emulators.

I believe the "Configuration -> Emulator specific option" menu item is a hang-over from PCSXbox - it does nothing in NeoGenesis (nor in FCEUltra). It would be nice if it didn't appear in these emulators.
