) but I like pj64. I have UltraXLE as well. UltraXLE looks great but it just freezes up on the start screen. Not sure why.

Relly ultrahlx is mutchh better at the moment..
pj64 is so unstabel whit (all) games and the sound is relly choppy and there is major grafic problems whit it...
But shure it will probely be perfect soon in next release....

No offence but, PJ64 is a lot better than UltraXLE IMO, it has way more compatability than UltraXLE, and UltraXLE was pretty much written to play certain roms which is pretty much 4 games i think.

well PJ64-x is the only one I load now, looked at ultraxle and it's a nice port but PJ64 is the only one that plays pilot wings and micro machines. I await with bated breath the update to pj64 and 1964 port and of course Rice's plugin updates.

but does it play near every rom? I don't want to have more than one n64 emulator.
You do realize that no emulator has 100% perfect emulation. Emulators can get close, but it's impossible for EVERY game released for the specific system to be perfect.
If you want every game to be played 100% perfect like on the original system - then go play it on the real hardware.
And if you don't like the ported emulators, don't use them.
As for the_casanova, Iriez isn't being a bitch to everyone. He's just repremanding the stupid people who keep posting the same thing over and over, and those who are never happy.
I wanted to stay out of this one, but I just can't stand idle.

Don't bother with any of them. None wil load a rom for me. Not even Mario 64 will load. All roms just freeze after selection at the menu.
I agree with irez; stfu. I mean, why the hell tell people to not bother with the emu just because your can't figure it out.
I guess it's one way to get your post count up.

you got 007 on ultra? mine sorta hangs after the title screen every time..are you sure it works?
You have the overdump (16meg) it's a bad dump that everyone (Just about) seems to have that doesn't work on the xbox emu's but works fine on pc versions.
It's difficult to find the 12meg proper dump because everyone has this bad overdump.
It's not impossible though but don't PM me looking for it because I won't answer you.
I heard you can fix the overdump (Although I'm not convinced.) search the forums for the answer.
