Xport you are a @#$%ing God, and I want to bare your children.

One thing though, aren't you sick as shit listening to your peons complaining about one simple thing from one @#$%ing rom they plan to play for only 5 minutes? This doesn't work, that has a glitch, those are slow.

I mean @#$%ing come off it, leave this man alone to port more shit for us to enjoy!

P.S. I am havin problems with this game called . . . hehe JK

Thud: the save states are all good. i'm pretty flaky about which emu i use at any given time, so i bounce back and forth. the save states for genesis are called something like

sonic2.gs1

which will have to be renamed to

sonic2.st1.

small problem is that xenesis starts its saves at gs"0", and Neogenesis starts them at st"1". any "0" save states will obviously have to be given a different number.

also if anyone cares, the sega cd bram saves work too, but you'll almost always need to change the name of the game instead of the .brm extension.

Neogenesis will use whatever name you call you sega cd iso.

Sonic CD.iso will be Sonic CD.brm

but for Xenesis

Sonic CD.iso will be SONIC THE HEDGEHOG CD.brm

just change the name to whatever the emu needs.

one man's trash is another man's treasure. i for one, have played battlemaster for 30 "@#$%"king hours, while no one i've ever met has heard of it. i would be VERY unhappy if it didn't work here.

whining and bug testing are two different things. it's up to any coder to decide whether or not to fix something, and it's certainly exhausting as "@#$%," but this not only improves their emu, it enhances the praise they recieve one "peon" at a time. outside of the original PC issues that people keep bringing up, if a game's problem can be fixed, i'd say they would want to fix it.

Ok........sorry for my incompitance, but how do i do that; how do i use the segacd back up RAM on my xbox? huh.gif

most of them are easy to save. just save the way the game would on the original sega cd.

but since every game has its own backup file and save cartridge (if you want to use that), you might have to format your "battery backup" before you can play a game.

sonic cd demands that you format your backup device before you can actually play. so when you load your "SonicCD.iso" or whatever, when it goes to the sega cd screen and says "press the start button," press (THE EMULATOR'S) A button. you can format the sega cd's battery backup and the catridge backup there, if necessary.

of course, be sure you exit the sega cd game back to the neogenesis menu before you shut off your xbox. otherwise it won't save anything.

I understand what you mean now, I mean if Dodge decided to give me a free Viper I would be VERY unhappy if it did not come with black alloy wheels.

QA testing is well and good, but posts lik;

Hey Xport When can you do this

or

I cannot read a @#$%ing NFO file so xport tell me how to get back to the @#%$ing menu

or even better

WOW you ported so much good shit, now I NEED you to port SPECTRUM, SEGA SATURN, and an emulator of my mothers right hand spanking my ass, and I want it today.

Those kindo posts jus get on my 2 am in da morning nerve.

You have to press A ( or some other sgen button) at the CD "press start" menu to bring up a secondary menu where you can initialize your BRAM.  This is the same thing you would do on a real Sega CD system.

I guess the problem is that a lot of people using the emulator don't have a real Sega CD and games (although of course you are supposed to!) so don't know some of the more obscure quirks.
