Its almost up to normal speed now in 1/2 player mode.

Still chunky sound and slow gameplay on 4 player.

The textures are fixed for the most part. There are still white patches beneath the players, and i noticed on 4 player you still get that wierd repeater dragger bleed effect on the ball after you hit it sometimes.

Replays are looking slightly better. Not as 'flashy' like it was before, but still problimatic.

I don't have a problem with anyone asking for status.  Ask nicely.  Don't expect some sort of status report from a programmer.  Asking, 'is it really so hard to give a status once a week' is rude.  It made me mad.  Deal with it.  It's not a programmer's fucking job to come here and update you on what they're doing every week.

For future reference, here are two websites that list current x-box related emulation releases:

If there's a listing there for your fave emu, there's your fucking status report.

They're usually pretty good about reporting recent news, dickheads.  Check them, and please ask politely when you don't find what you need there.

I try to take the time to help people out here all of the time - and sometimes they're not polite at all.  The first post in this thread took a tone that implied that a new release of a n64 emu was overdue.  Fuck that.  It's due when they release it.

Your statement backing him up implies that you agree.  You then implied that someone had a stick up their ass.  Fuck that too.

first off last time i check your not any kind of spokesman for anyone, so who the hell are you to determine what the programmers want to do and not do.  what your registered longer than i am? so im a no-nothing troller? i'v been around since day one.

how should i ask for progress reports? "oh please emu god, can you bestow the honor of informing us mere mortals of thou divine emu progress?" give me a break. who knew these programmers were so fickle and on the edge of dispare that a simple question of what they are currently working on would make them simply give up. i guess thats why we must keep on stroking their egos by calling them gods in order to message out their latest creations.

dont get me wrong, i do appreciate the work they do. its hard time consuming work, but if they cant be bothered or hate it so much then hey here's a news flash: dont work on it.  you seem to be the only one to take exception to the updates, iriez didnt seem to have a problem with it and gave us the info we wanted.

1. You seem to think that these forums constitute "The Scene" which is does not.
2. Yes a lot of newbies have joined but more joined in January where was bitching then.
3. All the exploits are beyond the average newbie to perform they are of more use to a seasoned xbox modder (Or PC guru)

It is normally newbies (Not always though) that do this because after 4 stupid posts they either stop asking stupid questions (Realise what that search button is for) or stop coming here.

PJ64-x will come in it's own time and at it's own pace and no ammount of crying is going to change that.

and with tools like slayers auto installer its just keeping pll n00bs their not lerning anything i have the same argument for evox auto add item its just gay

are scene already had 40'000 members+

I certainly agree with you on slayers auto install people use it never laern anything. There might be an influx of newbies wanted to know how to "chip" their xbox in software but they'll disapear pretty sharpish when this all blows over.

Mrmodchip used to offer ram upgrades £100 I believe there was someone else as well but I can't remember who it was.

Learn to read between the lines, it will help you in life. What is full functional? It has graphics, it has sound, it has controls, it has saves.

It is fully functional.

Now how you get PERFECT EMULATOR from 'fully functional' is beyond me.

Bottom line, I have given plenty of updates. The problem here is children's lack of patience. No one owes you anything, so dont expect anything. When i made the contest rules, i made a DO NOT do section. One of them said

DONT NOT ASK FOR STATUS UPDATES, I WILL INFORM YOU OF PROGRESS WHEN I FEEL IT IS NECESSARY.

I mean really, i gave a update about a week ago. Are you people really that fucking impatient? You need to learn to chill out, kick back, and ENJOY what people are doing for free, for your benefit, at the expense of their free time.

Infact, just to make a point, i will no longer give you updates on the status. You children can wait for it to be released to learn whats new, what plays what, and how. I am not your personal slave, nor do i feel any obligation to tell you ANYTHING.
