Changing Discs In Pcsxbox

how do i switch discs with pcsxbox

i finished the first disc of ff9, now it asks for the second and i cannot seem to get it to agree with me

i think that if you click the right thumbstick there will be an option
you could also save to the memory card and then load with the new cd

hmmm... im just a few minutes away from changing discs in chrono cross.... it better work since ive played for about 30 hours already!  :lol:



no....No !!!!  :(  It's not working! when i press left thumb... then Y to change disc it just completly hangs.... tryed save states too... didnt work for chrono cross... damn. Any ideas? can i take my most recent memcard save and use it on a pc psx emu to switch cd's and then do a save on cd2, and ftp it over to the box ?

I'm too done with cd 1 of Chrono Cross and cd 2 won't start. Does anybody know Xport and can ask him if there is some known bugs in Pcxbox 3? Cheers for the nice emulator by the way. it rocks!

Im using v2 so i dont think its a bug with v3. Btw, i was able to transfer my most recent memcard save over to my pc and in epsxe disc swap worked! just need to find a save point in cd 2 and then transfer it back to the box.... hopefully it will work  :)

Sounds like a bit hassle.  I'll probably just play my PS2 to play Chrono Cross... although it would be useful to know.

im on cd2 now  B)  It's really easy to transfer the memcards between Pc and xbox. Just ftp the memcard file over to your Pc. open epsxe ---> options --> memcards---> point memcard1 to the memcard file that you just transferd. Start the game, use your latest save... switch discs and then do a memcard save and transfer it back to your xbox. might sound complicated but it only took a few minutes. I guess this means you can also transfer your older epsxe saves over to the xbox and continue your games... as long as you rename your memcards from epsxe001.mcr to memcard1.mcd. Anyone tried that`?

now thats strange... epsxe shouldnt lock up when changing discs... are you 100% sure that cd2 isnt damaged or something?

I don't have a pc that have the power to run a psx emulator :( guess i'll have to wait for a update of the pcxbox. It must be a bug in the code where you can change the disc or something. Pcxbox just lock's up or does nothing when i try to load cd 2 with the -y- button.  I have tried to load the cd2 and then load the savegame but then it asks for cd1 again. (I knew it would do that, but i was kind of hoping ;) )
