don't know if this info is in any other posts but its not on the main page:

Omega Boost (NTSC-J) - near perfect (BIOS), slight slowdown when screen becomes busy, does not work in HLE.

Alundra2 (NTSC) - works in BIOS, occasional random lock-ups

I have discovered how to fix the speed-up problem in Parappa the Rapper.
For everyone who doesent already know, by default, the right trigger is set up as a fast forward button in pcsxbox. Everytime you hit that button (as part of a rap) the slider speeds up but the rest of the game does not. And after you hit it once, the game is out of synch until you reset it. I KNOW! I GOTTA BELEIVE!! no... actually all you gotta do is un-assign the trigger to the fast forward function, change it to your back button or something else... then Parappa runs pretty flawlessly aside from the fact that the Cheap Cheap chicken's mouth wont move sometimes. Have fun biggrin.gif

Well it has been awhile since I tested any games (pcsxbox v1) but I have been fooling around with Tales of Destiny 2 again with v10 and I have gotten it to work fairly well. The only problem is after awhile of speech the game will start to stutter and slow down. I have been unable to fix this, you either have to turn of sound or just save state and restart the game to clear up the lag. The only graphic fixes I have on are old frame skipping and frame limit for fights. I will continue to play and report if there are any further problems, I have only been playing for about 30 mins.

Tales of Destiny 2

Im a few hours into the game and it works great as long as the voices are set to OFF. Havn't found a fix for the echo and stuttering when they speak.

Im using v10 and  cant get FF8 pal version to work on it, every time i load it up all I get is a black screen but I can still use the right thumbstick to enter the pcsx menu. Ive tried what was done in an earlier post but with no luck. Also ive tried it in both bios and hle mode. ( I coudnt get it to work in version 8 either).

Update
Just tried the .img file on epsxe and it works perfectly.

Someone should change that compatibility List, or better yet, delete it. It is´nt correct. Some of the blue games will start ok and even have good speed, but at some point in the game they will not work anymore. Just take FFIX for example, at a certain point in the game the emu will crash, this happens for everyone, and noone seems to have gotten past it without transfering the saves to pc and play it on a ps1 emu on their pc instead. That goes for more games in the list.

Has anyone played Dragon Warrior 7 recently? I can't get it to work. It loads till the first menu but then goes extremly slow and the menu flickers to where I can't even try to start a new game. I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I would love to play this game again.

Well it isn't a speed issue. I struggled with creating a new game and the windows ingame are nearly non existant (they flicker on screen for less than a second every 5 seconds or so). I believe there was a windows fix in petes plugin for games like Final Fantasy on PC emus, I am wondering if I am just missing something and one of the graphic/cpu fixes will fix my problem

Clock Tower NTSC - 100% BIOS Works best. Important: Make sure to select none for graphics filter, otherwise the right side of the screen will be smeared and cut off.

Hi all.  I can't get FF7 to work.  I have ntsc and v10.  There are posts in the previous fifteen pages that say it works.  I've tried bios and hle.  Both hang at the first battle.  The noises still come accross though.  Any ideas on which cpu settings might help?

Edit---search... duh...

Still, the problem was in the bin and cue creation.  I followed some crazy tutorial that had messed up my cue file.  So I re-imaged the disk with the latest cdrwin with all the nomal settings.  Now everything works perfect.
