Hi

I'm new to this forum, so i haven't had time to look thru everything yet.
But i'm wondering if anyone can give me a guide on how to get gran turismo 2 (pal) to work on my xbox, i'm using pcsxbox v10. I made bin/cue of my original cd, then i ftp it to my xbox, started up pcsxbox and selected the .bin file, but when i do, the xbox either crashes or goes back to the selection menu of pcsxbox.

I've tried adjusting the settings, but since i don't know what half of them are, i might as well ask here.

Anyone??

has anyone tried to play Mega Man X6? In the compatibility listing it says it works with bios mode but the only way it loads for me is with HLE mode and then it freezes on a black screen. Are there any configuration options I need to change?

Any help would be appreciated.

FF8(PAL) DOES work!
You have to PPF patch the bin image, turn frameskip and framelimit off, turn on CPU interpreter and the Inu...something battle fix and it runs at normal speed except the battle menus are flickery and the sound isn't perfect, movies are kinda jerkey and there are minor graphical issues during battles but it is PERFECTLY PLAYABLE!(I haven't got too far though, only just past the dollet mission).

Hello everyone.

Sorry the compatibility list has not been updated in such a long time, as i have not been here to do so. I have been in the hospital for a while now (car accident, multiple broken bones) and im finally out. so i will update the list in the coming days.

The idea would be to sum up ALL the games and clear up this thread - I mean... Just look how many off-topics there are...

When you update please say that PPF Patches are important for copy protected games to run(Especially PAL games). http://www.megagames.com has PPF patches and engine for almost every game.

Try turning 'Always Enable SIO IRQ' ON

Hi guys,

Indy 500 works fine on my xbox, using bios file and all other settings as default install. FMV choppy at the begining but the game ran perfect!.

oh yes I forgot, version 10 of pcsxbox

I have a lot of time on my hands so i am going to attempt to test as many games as possible

these are my results with v12

HDL
castlevania chronicals USA: a few sound issues but game plays pretty good
E.T. Interplanetary missions: a few CGI and sound problems (constant buzzing) game freezes after first level
puzzle bobble 2 (J): perfect. seriously
akuji: starts fine. freezes at loading screen
beast wars: transformers - doesn't load
cyber tiger - didn't load
raiden project: loaded
beatmania:(J) no load

bios 1001
akuji - loads and plays fine maybe too fast
beatmania:(J) - loads. plays music fine. game plays fine.
beast wars: transformers - loaded. plays fine
castlevalia chronicles - loads works great.
cyber tiger - loads. plays fine
E.T. - loaded. no menu screen. plays alright without the menu's
raiden project - loads. plays fine
puzzle bobble 2 (J) - perfect. seriously

hopefully more to come.

will you be listing japanese versions?? or should i avoid doing those??

also note i don't play these for hours. just a few minutes if possible so later in the game freezes are possible
