One last thing, I havent played 007 in so long my 64 has been collecting dust for a few years, is there supposed to be crosshairs during the game? There werent any when I played even when I pushed the button that does the close aim. Should there be a crosshair?
I'm pretty sure that one of the options in the pausemenu will bring the crosshair back on.

predator just keep playing the game and beating levels thats how you get the extra multiplayer guys without cheating.
Without the EPROM saving my status after every level, the characters won't appear. That was why I was asking. I have never cheated on the original n64 and am trying my best not to on the xbox-n64 version.
The same can be said of savestates, that option can be used as a cheat. If you get stuck midway in a level, save the progress and if you die, you can start again before where you died.
I've already completed everything there is on the n64 so am wanting to do the same on the xbox.

Yea I understand now. I came home and played the game further. I realized that you have to set the setting you want before every level. Kind of sucks. OH well you can play it. I guess we will have to wait for EPROM to be implemented.

I think the emus need to support n64->usb converters. I think the psone emu has something like that already...I could be wrong though.

), but it was so rediculously slow the one time it actually worked. Besides, there were some major gfx errors - blue everywhere. So it was completely unplayable. Never got it to load again. From then on, it just hung making the game, or hung right when you get to see the dam.
I'm still working on finding a 12MB rom

So the 12mb version of Goldeneye is the only one that works? Cause I can't find the 12mb version ANYWHERE, only the 16mb version, which is everywhere.

You're not going to find it on kazaa, that's for sure. Anyway, I know where to get it but can't tell you where to get it because that'd be against the rules but seriously, search around on emu forums or IRC channels and you're bound to come across the ROM.

I did!!! search for this (On Kazaa);
GoldenEye 007 (U) [!].v64 12,288KB
I got it yesterday, call me obsessive if you like, but I wanted to see if there was any difference between the US and PAL copies. I can now confirm that the US rom runs smoother (fps), and the sound is more in sync. I have a PAL machine.

^Yeah, I get that exact same problem. For me it usually is associated with the Player-3 slot, and not the others (when player 3 dies, the window freezes then)
