I think for what we have so far, it's incredible. I can just imagine what it will be like in a few months. Truly a great emu!! No, I'm not just kissing butt in hopes of better ones (well, I DO hope for more to come, hehe).... it's really a great emu! Bravo.

Just a repost from page one, to remind folk of what this thread is for............

The biggest threat to N64 emulation on the XBOX is developer apathy brought on by the ungrateful negativity of end users. They have the rest of this site to spew there bile, but to save the coders having to trawl through thousands of posts to see the genuine respect and admiration THE SILENT MAJORITY have for their work, PLEASE post a few words of appreciation here. I'm sure, for the coders concerned, this project was NEVER about money. Credit where credit is due, and genuine appreciation for an ASTONISHING achievement will be worth every drop of blood, sweat and tears as this project evolves....

Please, post disappointments and negativity elsewhere. This thread has one aim. POSITIVITY

Anywho, this is far more than I expected in a first release.  Fairly solid frame-rate.  Almost perfect sound.  (Though admittedly I though my headphones were on the fritz when I first started to play.  If no other bugs get fixed, please give this one some attention.)  Big kudos to the author/s, whoever he/she/it/them is.   blink.gif   Don't let the impatient one's get you down, because we still appreciate your work, even if we don't always shout it from the rooftops.  K?

Peace  beerchug.gif

biggrin.gif Finally! I'd been struggling to get the emu to work, when I tried redownloading the emu. That did the trick! I've been reading all of this negativity the past few days, and was expecting the worst. This is really very excellent for a beta! For those of us who have been involved in the emu scene (or at least, using emulators when NES emulation was still being perfected) this is much better than the early releases then! Mario 64 plays like, 95% perfectly, with cleaner graphics, on quick comparison with the real thing on my TV. I remember the days of struggling on my old Macintosh Performa, getting 15 FPS on 1st Gen crappy NES games. There aren't even any N64 emulators this good on the Mac today! Hear hear!

Hey Great Job on the emulator. Keep up the top notch work. Just remember that most of the negative people were looking for instant gratification i.e. a perfect emulator out of the box. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
