two player mode in mario Kart doesn't work to good, the player two screens extends onto player ones screen so player one can't see where they are going.

Apart from that it a good emulator so far.

It's a really good controller setup. R on the xbox long jumps in mario64. The DPAD on the Xbox are the C buttons on the n64. !080 plays fine cept a saw a graphics glitch with snow in the air on this one level but no on the other. Always select the default.xbe

I think its great work that the programmer(s) have done.  But most 32MB Games dont work because of not enough Memory, well why not make Virtual Memory; like the PC Doesnt.  Iam not exactly sure if this is possible with the xbox but if you can write files to a HD then shouldnt you be able to create a Virtual Memory Unit?  If any of you have any experience with Xbox programming let me know what you guys think!!

QUOTE (DuDeR MaN @ Jun 9 2003, 10:09 AM)
I love this release... I was sitting n xbins since 5am waiting for it to be uploaded. It's great!

Now I don't want to bitch but I feel we were kinda lied to by iriez... he said he had mario and banjo kazooie running flawlessly and it doesn't seem that way here, also he mentioned full controls... well hen where is that damn r button?!  I just hope we don't have to wait till the next deadline (which we probbly will) till some of these bugs ae fixed.

The R button was a honest mistake. It should be fixed next release. I hardly lied to you, dont whine.

Banjo kazooie loaded fine for me. I posted those screens from the xbox version, so obviously it loads. Perhaps you guys have screwed up versions.

I also uploaded the sources to xbins ftp, since people didnt check the webpage.

As to xbins being flooded, the bot gets hammered. 20 people msg it at once and its got to process each command and spit it out to each person. When tons of people do it at once the bot takes a really long time for the processes. If you just wait 5 minutes he will spit it out. This is done because if he spit it out right away he would be flooded off the server.

I will post more details concerning the emu and the contest once i speak to the author more.

does anyone know the technical reason why "seemingly" every n64 emulator blackens the bottom half of the stars in Mario64? im 99% certain that they werent like that in the original (to check i would need to travel 2000km to my folks house), but every emu ive used seems to do it
