O.k. here goes, i really miss the old sega c.d.. I know i could get gens-x to play sega c.d. games, but what i don't understand is what do i do once i get the emulator? I mean would i still need the original games to transfer them to my xbox, or could i find them maybe on the net somewhere?? This is what i'm not understanding.. I found one on ebay and i'm probably just gonna buy it.. and the games too.. but is there a way to get them games with out having the original games and console once i have the emulator?? Thanks all!!!!

you need to buy the system off ebay. the xbox emulator only works when an original sega cd system is sitting on top of it plugged into it.

take that last one with a pinch of salt, but what you are essentially asking is "Where can I get Sega CD games [for free]?" which is a no-no on this forum - just buy the games off Ebay, don't bother with the system if you only want to use the xbox to play them.

This sounds like an odd question to me as well, but I'll remain objective about it.

Once you acquire the emulator of your choice, you have the option of either hunting down Sega CD isos on the net, or making them from your own originals.

You will have to do a search yourself if you wish to get them by downloading them.

Otherwise, you can buy Sega CDs pretty inexpensively from eBay, or a couple other online retailers that sell Sega CDs for decent prices. After you have a Sega CD or two in your possession, there is a pinned topic in this forum that does a damn good job of instructing you on how to convert your Sega CD into a functional iso that can be played from your hard drive.

well i hear IRC is the place to look for that stuff this is kinda a NEWNET to me just learning the NET

anywas # the sega cd is OLD but the EMU is good and you shouldent look for ISOS
