If so the source should be avalible unless he coded it himself. I dont think he dis so it should be avalible. Check his site i think its xport.xbox-scene.com the source should be avalible there and maybe even on the xb!ns ftp.... just look dog im sure u will find what it is your looking for.

I checked both places, and it's not available.  I'm pretty sure that since Stepmania was released GNU, that he's required to release the source when he distributes it, or have it available.  And yes, I'm pretty sure Xport was the one who ported it.

Yeah Xport releases all the sources to his work as/ said.
The best thing to change imho is to get it working off dvd-r...that would rock!

How about getting lantus or x-port to talk to the FreeDO team. Their 3DO emu is closed source (due to the encryption architecture of the ARM CPU, so they say), but who knows...they might let them use the code to port it. The FreeDO team is working on porting it to other systems besides Win32 (MacOS and one other OS was listed as in the works).

Virtual Boy (just for shits and giggles)

To be honest though, aside of these I am VERY VERY content with what Lantus and XPORT have given us. It is very kool of them to spend there free time porting over stuff for us to enjoy. What I look foward to more than what emulator is going to get ported next, is what FPS is going to get ported next! I'm still waiting on:

Duke 3D
SDL Quake
DOOM (an advanced source port)
Quake II (a port that is actually stable and supports TC's)
Marathon (aka Aleph One)
Decent
Aliens V.S. Predator

I know a few of these are either being works on, or have been put on the back burner, but some of them have never seemed to have caught any coder's interest and that is a wonder in itself.

Doom most likely isn't going to be worked on again. Lantus already told us that a long time ago.
And as lantus posted above, stop bitching him -along with all the other godly programmers- on what to port. If he feels like it, then he'll port it, and if he's nice enough he'll even share it with us.

Hrm, only reason freedo team went closed source because they talked to the owener of 3d0 trip hawings and he said please keep it closed source, lol. Or so the coders say. Trip hawkings no longer has any say so about this emu or at least thats what I have been told and if this emu went open source trip hawkins cant do anything about it, so im told. If the 3d0 team keeps the source closed now, its only because they do not want to share, nothing else is holding them back. As for these emulators

Atari Jaguar (via MESS if this is at all possible)
X68000
Atari 130 XE
UAE with Jitt, Picasso, 68040, and perhaps ethernet support.
DOSBOX
Macintosh Emulator (with Ethernet support of course)
Wonder Swan (can't even find the one that we do have anymore)
Virtual Boy (just for shits and giggles)

other than mess i think its allready on the main list, post the source of each emu for me and ill add them to the list.

was this not the best emus not ported list?  yet after 2 suggestions u still leave out ZSNES. plenty of users would love to see a port, and allthou it'll never happen, it should still be on the list.
