It seems like he is making very quick progress, and I can't wait until its got atleast almost perfect graphics and input. I can live without sound.

I just downloaded the newest n64 for Xbins and in the readme it says .08, did he release a new version already?

EDIT: Also when I try to load a rom it looks like it freezes on CPU LOOP...

Yeah I noticed that too.

The readme I got says "- Engine Daedalus 0.08 (Build 443)"

I think thats the version of the Daedalus core that is in it.

The DaedalusX0.06 is Hikaru's Version number for the whole release.

Hope that clears things up.

well,ultrahle has working audio, and it's source was released, so it's not like he would have to start from scratch.  The UltraHLE source code is avialable at:  http://www.arcadezon...nintendo64.html

Wasn't UltraHLE written in OpenGL/Glide for Voodoo 1/2/3/4/5 chipsets?

smile.gif and never underestimate the power of prize money.  Over at gbaemu.com/gbax.com, we hosted a competition for demos, emulators, etc.. recently on GBA & GP32 and we got a lot of entries.  I'm sure the nice prizes had something to do with it, but even they weren't in the region of $2000 US.

of course, he'd have to change it to fit the specifications of daed,
