What can the debug version do? is it like a text prompt telling weather or not the game can loaded into memory?

you get to see the basic (very cool) UI, and you can try running roms if you like,
but I'll only tell you if it loaded, and that the cpu loop has started.

But the nicest thing about this is that we know that he's working on the emu,
and from what I can understand, he sounded enthusiastic about the n64-competition thingy..

Its alot better to see a emulator like his even though it dosnt support the gfx/sfx/input yet,
because atleast its beeing worked on..

I dont think your dreaming.  From the news I've read Hikaru has already got 8MB and 12MB carts working already.  He is just having problems with memory leaks on the larger carts.  Cant wait for a some what working release.  Only wish I had something to contribute.

beerchug.gif

I thought the person first making that N64 Contest Post would have got Flamed to death and no one would have listened to him. And then I come back after 4 days to have a look and now I see all this News of the Contest being Real, I couldn't believe it blink.gif

Hikaru as even started on it already hehe.

I knew the Xbox could handle this Emu all a long if the Dreamcast could do Psx, Xbox can do N64 wink.gif

All's they needed was a bit of incentive biggrin.gif

I can't wait to see how it turns out. Hopefully they get lots of games fully working on Xbox smile.gif

Hikaru was working on it awhile ago...way before this contest was thought up hehe
Now it's just maybe a better motive for him to work more on it.
