hi-

i have an older xbox i modded a while back with a 200gb drive and an xecuter 2.3pro i think it was. i just bought an additional xbox and put in a modchip (x.b.i.t. v1.5) with x2 5035 bios and bought a 300gb drive.

i want to put the 300gb drive in my old xbox, and the 200gb drive in my new one. the 200gb drive already has a couple of dashboards, games, videos etc... (the reason i'm doing that is because the new one is for someone else and i want the bigger drive for myself)

i was told i could just swap the old harddrive into the new xbox and it would work, but when i did that i am hung on the bios screen:  "XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING" and the power light is blinking green and red.

what does this mean? is there something else i have to do to get this to work?

also for the new 300 gb drive, i was going to pop that in my old xbox and use AID 3.0 to install some dashboards and get it up and going.

thanks for any help!

Is the old harddrive locked? Also slayers is great for a new harddrive install.

i dont think its locked... how can i tell? how can i unlock it if it is locked?

it's a 200 gb drive, not the factory one.

i heard slayers is outdated and aid is the new best one.

thanks for the help
