yeah its based off of 0.67... so will ALL roms not work then cause theyre now geared toward 0.68? I dont get it...  Why wouldnt they work on 0.67? I know theres a list of roms that have been changed but not ALL roms have been changed. Why not download the 0.68 flood and then log onto mame.dk and download the handfull of 0.67 friendly versions of the mame roms... if thats possible

Don't buy roms from some scam artist.  Go here...

You can find a burner in your area and get a full set of MAME roms for the cost of blank discs and postage.  If you're using MAME-X, try to find someone who still has the old 0.61 set.

Umm this is really being made a bit more difficult than it has to be.  Get the latest available version of MAME that you can and dump the roms into the roms directory.  The ones that MAMEx can read will be listed and the ones that aren't listed MIGHT be listed in a future update of MAMEx.  If that ever happens......

Course I still think they may have compatibility but have lots of issues with the emu's core.
