Firstly, until you have a working alpha/beta whatever, in your hands, DO NOT SEND THIS GUY ANY MONEY.
I am not saying he's not working on a new version of Daedalus, but I am very sceptical. It's not that I believe this can't be done, because we all should know it can.
No technical background or anything else has given me reason to believe this is more than a publicity stunt. Firstly, the only way he could continue work on the leaked beta would be by having the original pre-compiled code. This is not freely available and I see no proof that he has acquired this code. The only thing he could then do is to try porting the PC code of Deadalus. He has provided no technical background or information to any other coder/site that I'm aware of that would agree with and backup his claims.
seeing is very much believing with this, I'm afraid. Sometimes, I think it's better that people shutup and release something when it's ready or at least discuss with other coders or give a locked beta to a few choice website reviewers.
So, a little more technical background or a locked alpha to xbox-scene or anywhere that would confirm this project would be nice. I am very angry though that you would talk about accepting money at this stage, where you have proven nothing.
