No Metal Slug 3 On Mame?

N00b here, I'm 3 days into owning my moddes box, but I jsut can;t et metal slug 2,3,4, or X to run. It there some incompatibility, or am I doing something wrong?

For starters, post on the Emulator board.

Not all arcade roms work with Mame. Some require more memory than the Xbox has. Does your Mame-X see the rom and attempts to load it?

What is the maximum sized ROM that MAME can run?
Is it simply 42mb - size of MAME?

As for NEO GEO it is something around 56 MB unzipped so something around 15-20 MB zipped. You definitaly will not be able to run zipped games of the size like 30+ MB in NEO GEO.

But, of cource it depends on the particular system drivers. There may be memory issues with games of much smaller size (I think Rolling Thunder 2 is the one).
