It's going to be impossible for the author to get that working.   There just not enough
ram in the xbox.

I was reading some posts about using the unused ram socket on the motherboard.

Oh boy the traces were very small.  I think if someone took there sweet time.

Nothing's impossible.  There may be a way to store the extra bit of code in a ramdrive.  The author of FBAx already does something similar.

But it is said, that MAME requires all the roms to be in RAM AT ONCE. You would have to reprogram the drivers for those games somehow... not an easy task... for larger roms just wait till Xbox 2 is here...

what i would like to see in the next mame-x is is analog stick support..
it doesnt have to be analog but as long as you can use the stick as a replacement over the digital pad..

xsnes9x has that feature too..
Why is mame-x not opensource btw? mame is...
