You can't see some of the roms because mame-x at the moment is based on 0.61 and if you have roms in later versions like 0.62,0.63,0.64,0.65 of mame they won't be seen till a later version...

It's probally not a bios issue, have a look at the download page on MAME.DK and see if there are other roms listed (eg: game rom / parent rom /old rom ETC. download all these zip files to the mame/roms folder.

The roms folder should have allready been there, i'm not sure why you created it ?.
