Where's This N64 Emulator?

If you're in that much of a rush, do it yourself.

Don't forget these people arn't getting paid, probably have their own jobs and doing this as a hobby.  There's a lot of people don't like the current version of xsnes9x as graphically it doesn't emulate the SNES like it should, so I'm guessing that's why he did his own version.

If I'm not mistaken, the reports were that the N64 currently being worked on was ABOUT to begin development or VERY EARLY ON into development.  (I think the guy is starting fresh with his own Xbox-Daedelous code, not fine-tuning someone else's.)
I suspect we're looking at many more weeks (months?) before we have anything resembling the full-speed, full-functionality that we all dream of.

Ask questions about the emulator, yes.  Bitch and moan, no.  (Not that you were.)  Let the guy go through the substantial trial-and-error phase for him to get an idea of just how complicated the work ahead will be.  Maybe then we'll have an idea of how his labor of love is going.

Mario Kart
Mario 64 (though runs too fast)
Scooby Doo
The New tetris works
and others

It's got no sound, and I couldn't get some games to work, which I was dying to play. But, overall its not too bad. I'm glad an effort was made, because I can't make one! smile.gif

Are there any other open-source n64 emulators that don't use a plugin system?  If so, I would at least port it to dx8, then it would be snap to go from pc to xbox.

Has anybody ever gotten daedelous to work?  I've seen posts of it working, or so they claim, but every time I load it it just freezes on a black screen and I have to hard reset the XBOX.

the only game i got to work on daedelous was mario 64, it worked ok but did not have any sound.
