doesn't finalburn play that rom?? try that ...

i had a problem with alien vs predator that sounds similar & I had to d'load a new one (cps2 specific??)

yes! final burn is your solution here. perfect!
and dont question around with mame-x blablabla...for cps2 games theres only one solution: final burn alpha x!
