I've been consoling capcom fighters for a while and I have a preferred button layout. I don't want to buy a big arcade style stick and the d-pad on the default controller sucks so I resort to using my s-pad.
Only problem with the s-pad is that the black and white keys are not really usable in a fighter when you're trying to string together combos.
SO... here's how I like my button layout.
LK |MK |HK |LP |MP |FP
A_ |RT |B_ |X_ |LT |Y_
So I have the source and I edited the cpp file to my liking. First I have a question there.
What's the easiest way to make an "all three punches" button?
I tried just mapping white to fire 4 fire5 and fire 6 (on 3 different lines of code).
Will it take the last one or all 3?
Second, when I'm trying to compile fba, I'm getting an error. I'm a newb to compiling c++ but I thought even I could fight my way through this one.
Believe it or not, the error is:
Error executing c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe.
FBA.xbe - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
I have cmd.exe and I disabled the automatic copy feature. I'm confused.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I'm running win XP pro.
