Yep, same problem here. As far as I can tell there is no way to change the the screen size. Yet. It is still in its infancy though, and will surely pop up in a later release.

You can resize your screen by hitting right trigger-A to enable stretch mode, then use right thumbstick to resize, and left thumbstick to move the screen around. Then presss tright trigger-A again to commit the new size.
