Zsnes runs alot more smoothly with better video and sound plus in general its more compatible with games.  Not saying Snes9x is bad at all though.

Go download Zsnes.  Give it a shot.  It has a ton more features than xsnes9x, and you can set the graphics to be a lot smoother than xsnes9x.  The sound is better ... and there's a ton of other reasons I can't think of off the top of my head smile.gif
