Have you run your ROMS thru Romcenter and CLRMAME?

Start there if you haven't.

Watch the progress meter as the roms load. Does it get below 2 megs?

It shouldn't, and if it doesn't mame should not give you an "out of memory error" UNLESS it's missing a rom from another zip file.

The "out of memory" error is a catch all. You'll see it with bad zips, bad disk reads, missing roms, etc. Don't trust it to be accurate.

I tried it earlier when I remembered your post.

Yeap it craps out for me too, and I know that I have it properly set up as most of the other Roms run fine.
